THEN we moved to a DAW, some software engineers idea of how things should be done. Then we moved up to a workstation and then next thing we know we have to follow some specific rules, PER BRAND.
Basically, every brand was exactly the same. Years back we all had a reel to reel recorder, we plugged it in, thread the tape, plugged in a mic a and away we went. Its based on some person's idea of "how it should be", and it probably is, for them. Well stand in line ! The biggest issue with DAWS is the inconsistency of work flow from package to package.
